Swiss Cultural Events in January
We are pleased to present you the following Swiss Cultural Events during the month of
January.

Looking for inspiration in antique manuscripts of
the Middle Ages, Drie Tchi Nos, alias Tiphaine
Boulc'h and Cécile Broquet recreated Italian
music and tales of the 13th century.
With Near-Oriental and Indian inspiration, the two
flute players share their passion bringing back to
life beautiful forgotten sounds and traditions.
The two artists have an intriguing curriculum as
among with music lessons, they studied
musicology at Université de la Sorbonne in Paris,
Geneva and Tang Junqiao in Shanghai for
Tiphaine Boulc'h and in Bern, Zürich and Geneva
for Cécile Broquet. Ms. Boulc'h learnt traditional
Chinese transverse flute (dizi) in Shanghai while
Ms. Broguet, using her strong experience in antique music interpretation, appeared on several
European, Asian and South American stages.
This Ballata interpretation is a unique occasion to discover medieval music in a didactic and lively
way.
