An inquiry into the natural world
and its laws; the interaction between the natural world (physical

Summative Assessment:
The students will film a newscast dealing
with a natural disaster of their choice.
There will be four members to a team: anchor person, meteorologist, scientist and
reporter.
We are always looking for guest speakers who can
enrich our units. If you have expertise in the area
of natural disaters or know someone who would be
willing to come and talk to the class or skype with
