PRESS RELEASE Paris, 26 November 2014 Foncière des Régions won the REIT award (Trophée des SIIC in French) in the “City & Future” category for its renovation of the VélizyMeudon complex This award recognises “New Vélizy”, its flagship project for 2014 On 25 November, during the REIT award ceremony organised by the French federation of property companies (FSIF), Foncière des Régions won an award in the “City & Future” category for its New Vélizy project, and more generally for its renovation of the Vélizy-Meudon complex. Vélizy-Meudon, a major complex with many benefits Ideally located and connected to Paris, the Vélizy-Meudon complex is a lifestyle and professional space popular with major users, as it currently groups together nearly 1,500 companies and some 50,000 employees. The complex combines economic performance, services, public facilities and green spaces. In addition, the T6 tram line has improved its accessibility. Foncière des Régions, rebuilding the city in the city Present and active in the municipalities of Vélizy-Villacoublay and Meudon since 2003, Foncière des Régions has implemented a strategy aimed at developing turnkey campuses for major users on this site. In this regard, key projects carried out by Foncière des Régions include Dassault Systèmes Campus (2008), Eiffage Construction (2011) and Eiffage Campus (2015), in addition to the more recent New Vélizy project – the campus for the Thales Group, which was delivered at the end of October. By the end of 2015, and since 2003, over 150,000 m² have been built or rebuilt in the course of these projects. Crédit Agricole Assurances, our long-standing investment partner, has been helping Foncière des Régions for several years with the development of this major business district. Foncière des Régions is continuing its strategy with “Opale” and “Canopée” Foncière des Régions is already working on the next stage of the site renovation with two innovative projects: - Opale, a 30,000 m² property designed by Valode & Pistre as an emblematic building at the forefront of the Vélizy-Meudon complex - Canopée, a 30,000-50,000 m² campus designed by Jacques Ferrier Architectures, spans three wings that are interconnected through a canopy where services and reception areas can be found. With the imminent arrival of the T6 tram line and the development of the Paris-Saclay complex, Vélizy-Meudon will consolidate its position as the second-largest commercial complex in the Paris region. Future synergies with this high-end complex offer new avenues for development open to Vélizy-Meudon and to the current and future corporate tenants on this site. The pre-letting of these projects has been entrusted to BNP Paribas, CBRE and JLL. 1/3 “Our work on this major complex for more than ten years is a perfect illustration of what Foncière des Régions stands for. We are guided in our daily work by the quest to match a high-quality real estate project with companies’ expectations and the ambitions of a specific region. In our opinion, meeting these three conditions is key to a project becoming a shared and lasting success. New Vélizy embodies this ambition, which we will continue working towards with the Opale and Canopée projects”, said Olivier Estève, deputy general manager of Foncière des Régions.
