Metro Tickets
You have several options for purchasing metro tickets or passes. Metro
tickets can be bought in the metro station, on the bus for a single ride and
at the TABACS or anywhere you see the RATP sign outside. Only at
the metro station will you be able to get any passes.

(including transfers to other lines within the same metro stop) Individual

Mobilis (pass for for unlimited travel during one day)
Navigo Decouverte (weekly pass) You must bring a passport-sized photo
(there are photo machines in some of the metro stations)
Paris Visite (unlimited bus/metro in Paris only) 1 day, 2 days, 3 days or 5
days. The Paris Visite card offers discounts on various monuments,
museums and other attractions.
CAUTION retain your ticket throughout your ride as you might encounter a
controller in the metro who will ask you for your ticket. If you can not
provide a valid ticket, you will be required to pay a fine on the spot.
