Favoriser et encourager l’utilisation du dictionnaire lors
des lectures.
ENGLISH CURRICULUM
The Wordly Wise 3000 series will be followed. Lessons
begin dictionary style with alphabetized word lists and
definitions; ending with grade-appropriate nonfiction
narratives that include the lesson words in context.
Various exercises allow the students to use the newly
acquired vocabulary words in appropriate context.
New vocabulary is also regularly introduced in various
areas of the curriculum, such as science, social studies,
and math.
