27 NEW LOCAL AUTHORITIES JOIN AGENCE FRANCE LOCALE
INCLUDING A DEPARTMENT
Agence France Locale’s third capital increase occurred on 18 November 2014. Agence France Locale
welcomed 27 new local authorities and, as a consequence, 78 local authorities are now members of
Agence France Locale. Those 78 shareholder local authorities have made capital commitments totaling
€99 million, €37 million of which has been paid in to date, which represents almost 20% of Agence France
Locale’s long-term objectives.
Agence France Locale’s new members include the cities of Mâcon (21), Nogent-sur-Marne (94), Pau (64),
Saint-Denis (93) and Vincennes (94), the inter-municipal entities of Chambéry Métropole (73), Morlaix
(29), Pau Pyrénées Agglomération (64) Seine Amont (94) and Val de Fensch (57) and the Department of
Ariège, which is curently the fourth department to join Agence France Locale.
Yves Millardet, Chairman of the Executive Board, commented on: “We are very pleased with this new
capital increase which highlights, only one year after Agence France Locale’s creation, the French local
authorities’ strong commitment towards the reinforcement of their financial autonomy and which clearly
demonstrates that Agence France Locale is gaining momentum. Interests in Agence France Locale keep
on increasing steadily, from French local authorities but also from financial markets”.
In fact, in order to prepare its inaugural bond issue, more than one hundred European investors have
been met by Agence France Locale. Agence France Locale is already well known by French and
international investors who understand that Agence France Locale will perfectly match their investment
requirements and standards.
