Pascale Dubouis application to the Board of the ESCP Europe Alumni’s Association My journey: Graduated from ESCP Europe in 1985, I started my career selling IT solutions, first in a small IT company and for Philips from 1988 onwards. Then I joined the consumer activities of Philips as Key Account manager for the Small Appliances categories in 1991. After 9 years in sales, I wanted to test myself in support functions and worked during 4 years as Director of Human Resources in the same Philips entity. In 1998, I became a marketing group leader in the Food and beverage category, then I created in 2000 the marketing direction of the Small Appliances division. In 2002 thanks to the launch of Senseo in partnership with Maison du Café (Sara Lee Group) Philips becomes the leading coffee machines company in France. In January 2008, I started as marketing director of the Consumer Lifestyle division resulting from the merger of Small Appliances and Consumer Electronics. I was also in charge of the repositioning of the Philips brand in the Health and Well Being field. I left Philips in November 2010 to take charge of the Sales and Marketing direction of Carglass in February 2011. Today, I’m combining two challenges: looking for a new professional opportunity and consulting activities with a Customer Relationship and Marketing specialty. I am passionate about the challenges of customer relations and the creation of brands dynamics, innovation, integrated marketing communications, digital, multi-channel, strategic partnerships and how businesses can evolve in their modes of operation and human aspects so as to achieve a sustainable success in an unstable environment. What I intend to bring to the Association I wish to get more involved in the radiation of ESCP Europe and participation in the Board of the association seems to be a smart way to bring my energy, my enthusiasm and my professional skills to serve this cause. Three fields of action motivate me particularly: the “ESCP Europe Alumni” brand radiation and influence, the ability to provide HR support to Alumni's with a constant improvement on these HR aspects (career management, employment) and finally the strategic management of the association. Our school ESCP Europe strongly developed internationally, which creates today one of its competitive specificities. “ESCP Europe Alumni” is an association but also an international brand whose influence must support the school. I think I can contribute to the development of our brand in France and abroad by providing my professional view of marketing, branding and communication in international environments. In addition, thanks to a cross path in terms of jobs, including HR but also knowledge of various business sectors, I have developed a fairly complete professional view on the professional environment and companies expectations regarding graduates. I am already involved in the Association being Probono for a few years now, helping other's Alumni to prepare for their interviews. So I think I can help the association to continue to grow in the HR aspects, to increase the attractiveness of ESCP Europe graduates on the labor market. My high sensitivity to customer focus will also help to get the association to further dialogue with the Alumni's so as to identify their needs in this area, create the link and give them the support they expect. Finally, participation in executive committees during more than 18 years developed my ability to see the big picture and bring constructive criticism which is hopefully a good basis to join the team that drives the evolution of our association, defines its strategy and means to implement.
