Tasted from a barrel sample at en primeur. The Siran is a blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit
Verdot picked between 1 and 16 October at 44hl/ha. It has a clean, pure bouquet with macerated dark cherries, wild
strawberry and a slight reductive metallic note just in the background. The palate is better than the nose at the moment.
There are some supple, saturated tannins here and a keen thread of acidity, whilst the oak provides the lift on the finish.
This might be one of the better Margaux wines after bottling. Good potential for a higher score down the line. Tasted April

A perfumy style, with black tea and spice notes up front and dark plum sauce and steeped raspberry fruit in reserve. A bright

Comme bien d’autres, le cru a choisi de privilégier ses merlots (55%) dans l’assemblage. Il se montre élégant, avec une belle
rondeur et continue à affirmer le nouveau style du cru qui privilégie la « buvabilité » et le raffinement. Un Siran de plaisir et
de fruit qui termine sur une note agréable de poivre en finale.
