Running has miraculous benefits for the human body. So whether you’re running to keep yourself in
shape, weight loss or any other kind of fitness, staying motivated isn’t always easy – particularly those
that are new runners. You’re going to experience many little types of aches and pains when you first start
running. But don’t be discouraged, because this is a normal reaction to the body, as there are different
physiological stresses being put upon the joints.
A new runner sometimes has a lot of experience getting motivated. They may say, I have aches and pains
or it’s too dark or too cold. I’m too busy at work or the weather’s too wet, or they’d rather eat because of
plain laziness.
If you want the results, you must pursue your mission. Like anything in life, hard work always pays off.
Running is one of the most purest forms of natural exercises that we can do as human beings. Studies
show you live longer, you lower blood pressure, you get a stronger heart, you lose weight, (it) slows
down aging, a reduction in stress.
It boosts self-confidence, increases happiness, improves your mental alertness, and most of all, it gives
you that runner’s high as your nervous system releases a substance called endogenous morphine. These
are the endorphins that are secreted into your system. These endorphins create a post-workout sense of
euphoria, giving you that natural high feeling, like you’re standing on top of the world.
So make it a habit and put your shoes on as you step into the new world of health, wealth and happiness.
