Barinatxe Beach
Plage Barinatxe
A big beach in a non-urban area, with smooth golden sand. It is a beach
with strong winds and strong waves covered by a high cliff full of vegetation,
surrounded by fields.
Grande plage de sable fin et doré, non urbanisée. C’est une plage avec
beaucoup d’air, de grandes vagues et très fréquentée. Cernée par une
haute falaise couverte de végétation, elle est entourée de prés et de jardins.
Nudism is traditionally practised on both sides of the beach. Every year, in
September, an internationally well-known nudist race is held.
On fait généralement du nudisme sur les deux côtés de la plage. Une fois
par an, au mois de septembre, une course nudiste internationalement
reconnue, est organisée.
Arriatera – Atxabiribil Beach
A big beach with smooth golden sand. It is a beach with strong winds and
strong waves perfect for surfing, covered by a cliff.
We highlight the bars terraces in the area, from where we have lovely sights
and sunsets.
This beach is awarded the ISO 9001-14001 certificates.
Meñakoz Beach
Sopelana is about 20 minutes from Bilbao city centre, the Loiu international
airport and the seaport.
The natural approach from Bilbao by road is the A-8 highway up to Getxo and
going on along the BI-634. Another possibility is the BI-631 road up to Mungia
and then the BI-2120.
There is also a underground that connects Sopelana and Bilbao (Line 1). It
leaves from Bilbao and arrives at Plentzia.
Voies d’Accès
Sopelana, se trouve à 20 minutes du centre de Bilbao, de l’aéroport international
de Loiu et du port maritime. 1
Par route, l’accès normal depuis Bilbao est par la voie rapide A-8 jusqu’à Getxo
2
puis continuer soit par la BI-634, soit par la voie rapide BI-631 jusqu’à Mungia,
pour ensuite prendre la BI-2120.
Grande plage de sable fin et doré. C’est une plage entourée d’une falaise,
avec beaucoup d’air et de grandes vagues, parfaite pour faire du surf.
On remarquera les terrasses des bars des environs, d’où l’on pourra
contempler de magnifiques vues et couchers de soleils.
Cette plage a obtenu le certificat ISO 9001-14001.
Plage Meñakoz
A medium-sized beach in a non-urban area with gravel and stone .
It is a beach with strong winds and strong waves perfect for expert surfers,
because of its stony seabed and it is never crowded, covered by a high cliff
full of vegetation, surrounded by fields.
Plage de taille moyenne, non urbanisée, composée de gravier et de pierres.
You must be careful when having a bath.
C’est une plage avec beaucoup d’air, de grandes vagues, idéale pour les
surfeurs experts en raison de son fond rocheux. Moyennement fréquentée,
elle est entourée d’une haute falaise couverte de végétation, de prés et de
jardins.
You may practise nudism.
Il est recommandé de s’y baigner avec prudence.
On peut faire du nudisme.
