Lesson: Les verbes réfléchis
Learning Goal: I can talk about my daily routines using reflexive verbs.
Mise en train:
Sentence elimination game
• Powerpoint with sentences on the different slides.
• Everyone stands up, when it's someone's turn they have the choice of reading one or two words from the
sentence on the screen (not more or less).
• Whoever is forced to say the last word in the sentence is out.
• Continue until one student is left standing.
• Special slides: 1) "Éliminé": if this slide appears on a person's turn that person is out, 2) "Renversement": if this
slide appears the next person in line switches roles (i.e. if they were out, they are back in the game OR if they
were still in, they are out).
Watch Mr. Bean video "Getting ready for bed"
• Prompt: Qu'est-ce qu'il fait dans le vidéo?
• How do you say these in French?
• Prompt: Est-ce que vous remarquez quelque chose? Est-ce qu'il y a un motif?
