The microprogram is a convenient way for professionals with
busy schedules. Moreover, the microprogram is a graduate
level program and requires serious commitment by the
participant to carry out evaluation work. The format includes,
in particular:
online courses with learning units that can be adapted to
the participants’ schedules;

To be eligible to register as a regular student in the microprogram
in public health, applicants must:

Under the responsibility of the Université de Montréal, in
collaboration with the Université du Québec à Montréal and the
Université de Sherbrooke, the microprogram includes 16 credits
chosen from among the following courses:
COMPULSORY (14 credits) This innovative program, emphasizing the role of
managers and frontline public health practitioners, was
created under the aegis of the Initiative sur le partage des
connaissances et le développement des compétences
(IPCDC). The consortium reunites the Institut national de
santé publique du Québec (INSPQ), several Quebec
universities, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services
sociaux (MSSS), the Health and Social Services Agencies
(ASSS) and their public health branches, the Association
québécoise des établissements de santé et de services
sociaux (AQESSS), and the Observatoire québécois des
réseaux locaux de services (OQRLS).

be employed by a CSSS or an institution that has offered public
health services for at least one year or possess equivalent
experience;
have sufficient knowledge of spoken and written French and a
