The Plemmirio reserve where the seaside villa is located, is a few kilometres from
Siracusa, in an area known as località Penisola Maddalena, between Punta
Castelluccio and Capo Murro di Porco, where traces have been found of ancient
Greek and Roman shipwrecks. Enthusiastic divers can follow a special underwater
archaeology route, to discover the remains of ships. There are also wonderful
swimming spots, and in certain parts of the reserve, fishing is permitted. The area's
rich Mediterranean vegetation and unique coastline are of both archaeological and
naturalistic interest, and is a protected nature reserve with UNESCO world heritage
status. The most fascinating area on the mainland is the archaeological zone, which
includes a large Greek theatre with excellent acoustics. For all these reasons,
Siracusa is an essential destination for visitors to Sicily. In addition, the Baroque towns
of the Val di Noto (also with UNESCO world heritage status) are close by, while just
down the coast is another enchanting nature reserve, L'Oasi di Vendicari.
The interior of the luxury rental villa is comfortable and artistically decorated and has
breathtaking views. The ground floor has a fully equipped beautiful kitchen and a small
but effective laundry room. There is also a breakfast/lunch area on the indoor patio
with blue shutters opening to a terrace. Guests will enjoy the comfortable living room
with a fireplace and flat screen TV and relaxation area looking out onto one of the
panoramic terraces. There is a separate penthouse apartment with a private terrace,
living room and kitchen.
The villa has four colourful bedrooms that accommodate eight people comfortably. Off
the main living area is a bathroom with a shower for guests. Furthermore, there is a
double bedroom with a sea view, two twin bedrooms with views on the garden and two
bathrooms with a shower in the bedroom area. Adjacent, in the separate penthouse,
there is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom.

Surrounding the villa is a charming garden with distinctive Mediterranean plants where
bright and cool colours blend to create tranquil spots to sit down and enjoy the garden.
The focal point of the villa is its stunning terraces, which offer overwhelming views
across the bay. The terrace closest to the sea has an eye-catching infinity pool with a
Jacuzzi area that seems to flow down to the blue waters of the reserve's untouched
sea. A practical staircase leads directly from this terrace to the rocky coastline below
where swimming pool steps, fixed to the rocks, make it easier to reach the water. It is
a perfect entrance spot for divers, snorkelling, or just plain swimming in the ocean.
Access to the coast below is private.
