Program Objectives / Objectifs de Programme
Friday program will comprise a full day of video surgery demonstrations. Registrants will have the opportunity to direct questions to the
surgeons during the video presentations. Registrants will review body contour procedures for the massive weight loss patient, including
the lower body lift, medial thigh and brachioplasty. Participants will become more familiar with refinements in techniques for the
temporal lift and lower blepharoplasty and management of the difficult revision breast augmentation . Learners will be able to more
accurately select appropriate candidates for these procedures and incorporate these surgical techniques and refinements into their practice.
Saturday Didactic Program: Participants will learn the fundamentals of artistic anatomy for liposculpture. Learners will review surgical
complications relevant to aesthetic plastic surgery procedures and review the current aesthetic surgery trends in Korea. Registrants will
review the impact of protein nutritional supplements for MWL patients undergoing abdominoplasty, and the evolution of body contour
surgery. Participants will learn the impact of perioperative corticosteroids to reduce short term edema in rhinoplasty, the safety of
labiaplasty and a new technique for platysmaplasty via an oral approach.
