Pro-system Racing Pictures 28.02

L’Equipe Pro-System Racing, sponsorisée par Scapa (sponsor technique par la mise à disposition de rubans
adhésifs), a parcouru 8 étapes avec de très bons résultats. Ils ont terminé 18ème au classement final lors du
Paris-Dakar. Malheureusement lors de la neuvième étape, ils ont eu un gros problème mécanique (transmission). Le
temps perdu à mécaniser, ainsi que la difficulté de cette spéciale qu’ils parcouraient presque entièrement de nuit,
ne leur a pas permis de rejoindre le bivouac de Tichit avant la fermeture du contrôle de départ, le lendemain.
Pro-System Racing prépare dès à présent leur participation au rallye de Tunisie. Ils espèrent obtenir l’accord
des instances sportives pour pouvoir y engager leur Trophy Truck, qui ne répond pas en tout point au règlement
technique F.I.A, mais à celui du règlement SCORE USA. Ils envisagent ensuite de s’inscrire à une autre épreuve à
la rentrée (rallye des Pharaons ou Shamrock) en vue de valider les dernières évolutions techniques pour atteindre
leur objectif avec ce véhicule : terminer dans le top 10 du Dakar, l’année prochaine !
D’autre part, ils souhaitent courir aux Etats-Unis lors de la prochaine Baja 1000 dont ce sera le 40ème
anniversaire en Novembre 2007. Voici les photos du Trophy Truck avec notre logo lors du Paris-Dakar.

The team Pro-System Racing, sponsored by Scapa (technical sponsoring with adhesive tapes supply), covered
stage 8 with very good results (18th to final place from Paris-Dakar). Unfortunately since the ninth stage, they
had a major mechanical problem with the transmission, and the time they had to take to work on the car added
to the difficulty of this treacherous stage, which they then had to complete almost entirely after dark. This
meant that they could not reach the Tichit bivouac before the starting check point had closed the next day.
Pro-System Racing is preparing to participate in the Tunisian Rally. They hope to use their Trophy Truck, but it
does not correspond completely with the technical rules of the F.I.A, although it does to the rules of the SCORE
USA. They also hope to compete in another race during the last trimester (either the Pharaons Rally or the
Shamrock) in order to validate their lasts technical evolutions and reach their objective with that vehicle and
finish
in
the
top
ten
of
the
Dakar!
In addition, they would like to compete in the United States during the next Baja 1000, which is going to be
celebrating its 40th anniversary in November 2007. Please find hereafter the pictures of the Trophy Truck with
