(interpersonal & presentational) (25 points) Directions: In a group of 5, designate one announcer, one bachelor/ette, and 3 contestants. Costumes are encouraged. Your skit is to last 3-4 minutes. • The announcer will ask questions similar to the way Tex has, including jokes, and prying for more detailed answers. The announcer will introduce the bachelor/ette to the audience (your classmates). • The bachelor/ette must be very specific in what they want, what personality type they are looking for, and ask the contestants specific questions about their personality, their likes, dislikes, and hobbies. • The contestants must be prepared to answer at least one question from the audience. Work from a rehearsed script going back and forth between the announcer and the bachelor/ette and contestants. Everyone must participate! • You must pick a French song as your background and introduction music, and upload photos of your favorite hobbies in France and of yourself during each contestant’s profile presentation. • Submit one script per group. See what the French feel about objectifying men and role reversal, general dating culture in France. Describe what you see, use your descriptive vocabulary and adjectives to describe your profile. • You can visit http://www.adopteunmec.com/, a dating website. You can use this for research when creating your dating profile! • Keep an eye on the correct ending for feminine/masculine adjectives, watch il est and c’est, in context with a dating profile.
