The world has never known such a fast rate of change: the onslaught
of digitalisation and new technologies is disrupting old habits; new
competitors are emerging; distribution channels are being transformed;
and new consumer trends are evolving, driven primarily by the younger
generations.
Since 1932, Ricard has always anticipated the future, building and
then consolidating its leadership. Boosted by our excellent
2015/2016 results, we will keep on adapting to our environment,
stepping out of our comfort zone to progressively adjust our
organisation and our brand and portfolio strategies.
While the fundamentals remain consistent, we will be evolving our
sales structure (the Move project), ensuring we are closer than ever to
our consumers and more effective at promoting our brands. With a
network of French champagne and spirits cellar shops, we recently
launched “Les Nouveaux Cavistes”, a multi-brand e-commerce
platform with thousands of champagne and spirits references. In early
2017, we will be launching “Les Nouveaux Distillateurs”, an
independent start-up distributing craft brands including Monkey 47 gin.
We will continue to innovate with new advertising campaigns, a new
visual identity for Ricard, new consumption rituals for Chivas and
Jameson, new products and the continued implementation of our
premiumisation strategy.
The pace of our digital development will accelerate, both in
advertising and social media.
On the international market, our priority will be to sustain the ongoing
and impressive “Lillet success story” and to conquer new markets.
FOCUS 2017
Back in France, our corporate sponsorship investments will remain
high, mainly in the fields of contemporary art, music and the
environment.
In summary, in 2017 we will rise to our ambition to be an innovative,
connected, committed and responsible “Créateur de convivialité”.
