OBJECTIFS
OBJECTIVES
Le Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique, section locale 2626 (SCFP
2626) reconnaît l'importance de partager les travaux de ses membres du
SCFP 2626 avec la plus large communauté scientifique, à cette fin, une
conférence prix fonds destiné à des étudiants diplômés et qui ont été un
membre de l'unité de négociation dans les huit (8) mois avant de faire une
demande au fonds ayant pour but de présenter des recherches qui ne fait pas
partie de la thèse de l'employé. La recherche devrait être liée à la demande de
la mémoire, important rapport de recherche ou équivalent, ou pour le travail
accompli au cours d'un Assistant à l'enseignement ou de recherche poste
d'adjoint.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2626 (CUPE 2626)
recognizes the importance of sharing the work of its CUPE 2626 members
with the broader scientific community; to this end, awards a conference fund to
undergraduate and graduate students who have been a member of the
bargaining unit within eight (8) months prior to applying to the fund for the
purpose of presenting research that is not part of the Employee's thesis. The
research should be related to the applicant's memoire, major research paper
or equivalent, or to the work done during a Teaching Assistant or Research
Assistant position.
ADMISSIBILITY
ADMISSIBILITÉ
Pour être admissible, le demandeur doit être inscrit à l'Université d'Ottawa lors
de leur conférence a lieu et doit les demandes doivent être soumises avant la
date de début de la conférence et au moins 14 jours avant de participer à la
conférence.
To be eligible, applicant's must be registered at the University of Ottawa when
their conference takes place and must applications must be submitted before
the starting date of the conference and atleast 14 days prior to attending the
conference.
TRAVEL CONDITIONS OF GRANTS
VALEUR DES SUBVENTIONS
Ces subventions peuvent être utilisés pour payer les frais de voyage (train,
avion, bus, ou autre) au tarif le plus économique possible et d'autres frais de
voyage.
Le montant maximal accordé varie selon le lieu de conférence.
These grants can be used to pay the cost of travel (train, plane, bus, or
other) at the most economical rate possible and other travel expenses.
The maximum amount awarded varies according to the conference location.

CONDITIONS D'ATTRIBUTION
Pour les diplômés et les étudiants de premier cycle :
• Être en train detudié au moment où la Conférence a lieu;
• Fournir un résumé du document, ainsi que la preuve que le document a
été accepté pour la conférence;
• Veiller à ce que le document est liée à la demande de la mémoire,
important rapport de recherche ou équivalent, ou pour le travail
accompli au cours d'un Assistant à l'enseignement ou de recherche
poste d'adjoint;
• S'il ya plus d'un auteur pour la même présentation, nous ne pouvons
subventionner une personne à présenter.
For graduate and undergraduate students:
• Be registered when the conference takes place;
• Provide a summary of the paper, as well as proof that the paper has
been accepted for the conference;
• Ensure related to the applicant's memoire, major research paper or
equivalent, or to the work done during a Teaching Assistant or
Research Assistant position;
• If there is more than one author for the same presentation, we can only
subsidize one person to present it.

Applications must be submitted BEFORE the actual conference (NO grants
are awarded after the fact).

subventions n'est attribuée après le fait).
PROCEDURE
MARCHE A SUIVRE
Les candidats doivent :
• Soumettre le formulaire de demande et pièces justificatives au bureau
303 du Centre universitaire (85 Université, Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 6N5).
• Attendez que l'acceptation ou le refus e-mail de SCFP 2626 (envoyé à
l'étudiant de l'unité d'enseignement ou domicile).
• Au retour de la conférence, remplissez la section "Demande de
remboursement de fonds de conférence" et de renvoyer ce
formulaire avec les reçus originaux au bureau du SCFP 2626.
• Attendez un chèque de la Faculté des études supérieures et
postdoctorales (envoyé à l'unité d'enseignement ou domicile). Le
montant attribué est le plus bas entre a) le coût réel des dépenses
totales ou b) le montant figurant sur le SCFP 2626 carte géographique.
Il est à noter que la version papier du formulaire de demande n'est plus disponible.
Applicants must:
• Submit the application form and supporting documents to room 303 of
the University Center (85 University Private, Ottawa, Ontario,
K1N 6N5).
• Wait for the acceptance letter (sent to the student's academic unit or
home address) or refusal e-mail from CUPE 2626
• Upon returning from the conference, complete the "Request for
reimbursement of conference fund" and return this form with original
receipts to the CUPE 2626 office.
• Wait for a cheque from the Faculty of Graduate and
PostDoctoral Studies (sent to the academic unit or home address).
The amount awarded is the lowest between a) the actual cost of the
total expenses or b) the amount appearing on the CUPE 2626
geographical map.
Note that the paper version of the application form is no longer available.
