Remarque : le terme « dozen » est souvent employé en anglais. Littéralement, il signifie « douzaine » mais pour certaines expressions, on le traduira plutôt par « dizaine » en français car la quantité est approximative. two dozen eggs = deux douzaines d’œufs. On procède aussi de manière différente pour dire une année : dimanche 18 juin 1989 = Sunday, June (the) eighteenth (18th), nineteen eighty-nine. le 21 décembre 1803 = the twenty-first (21st) of December, eighteen oh three. en 1900 = in nineteen hundred. 2000 = two thousand (Y2K).
