The Law School aims to produce very high-level legal experts, capable of adapting and progressing in a
constantly changing professional environment, relying on a lively academic community and an international
network of excellence.
The students (between 150 and 200 per year) are recruited after three years of initial higher education, in
France or abroad (bachelor’s degree in the literary humanities or economics, business school, engineering
school, école normale supérieure, etc.), and having clearly identified their professional objectives. No prior
qualifications in law are required.
The objective of the training given by the Law School, through work in small groups and an interactive
educational method designed to develop critical spirit and imagination, is to produce excellent technicians with
the capacity to perceive the multiple dimensions and challenges of the law and deal with complex problems
within multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to adapt to unexpected and unusual situations.

These students will subsequently work at the bar, in business, economic regulatory authorities or the
magistracy. Some of them may choose to pursue their studies in a PhD program in the fields of economic law,
globalization, changing trends in public action or the theory of law and justice.
The Law School prepares students for three masters:
the Master in Judicial and Legal Careers [7] and the Master in Economic Law [8], both of which allow
students to prepare for the competitive examination for the École nationale de la magistrature and to sit
the bar school entrance examination;
a PhD in law [9].
