ANNUAL CAPPA RESEARCH CONFERENCE IN PUBLIC POLICY AND
PUBLIC MANAGEMENT

The Canadian Association for Programs in Public Administration (CAPPA) is pleased to
announce its first annual Research Conference in Public Policy and Public Management, to
be held at Carleton University, Ottawa.
This year’s conference, led by leading researchers and scholars, will focus on the following
themes: Politicization of the Public Service; public administration of health care;
management in provinces, municipalities and the North; public policy and First Nations
peoples; changing face of policy making and approaches; policy networks and stakeholder
engagement; innovations in public policy and management; and, emerging techniques in
teaching public policy.
