General instructions
1 - GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
INSTALLATION :
• Prior to use of the tool, users must familiarise themselves
with these instructions and abide by these directions.
• Ensure the premises are suitable for the types of work
to be carried out and properly lit.
• These instructions must be kept in an accessible place
of which all users and qualified maintenance staff are
aware.
• Check that the tool has not been damaged in any way
during transport and handling.
• Check that there is enough clearance around the tool
to move the materials to be machined and for all
operations and handling to be carried out properly.
• These tools have been designed for cold machining of
aluminium profiles. They are designed for use in
aluminium joinery production workshops.
• Do not leave packaged tools in premises which are
damp, exposed to the elements or airborne pollutants.
• All transport, installation, use and ordinary or exceptional
maintenance operations must only be carried out by
qualified staff.
• Ensure the support base for the tool is adequate.
• Safety shoes should be worn.
4 CONNECTION AND START-UP
• Do not remove the protective casings installed
on some machining stations.
PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
• Tools are systematically delivered in appropriate packaging
which includes a copy of the EC compliance certificate and
the instructions for use of the tool.
• Sound levels: n/a.
Ensure the compressed air circuit to be connected is appropriate for t
he power and pressure required for proper operation (see instructions).
Before activating the tool, check the following points:
• Ensure there is compressed air in the circuit (NB: for supply pressure
see EC plate or instructions for use),

CHARACTERISTICS
• Ensure the tool circuit is airtight (check connector inserts and tightening),
An identification plate compliant with EC regulations is affixed
to all tools. This shows the manufacturer's references,
the model, year of manufacture and the serial number.
Please refer to this plate and the data featuring on it in all
communication relating to the tool (problems, warranty
coverage, replacement parts, etc).
• Check controls are working properly
• Check mechanical parts are properly lubricated,
• Remove any foreign bodies with an appropriate tool,
• Read instructions prior to first machining.
3 - TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION

TRANSPORT :
Switch power to 0 before any upkeep or maintenance operation
The packed tool should be transported using means appropriate
to its weight and dimensions.
During raising, transport and installation, care must be taken
not to damage the tool.
Transport may be carried out manually using a pallet loader or
forklift truck. Some tools may be raised with a sling using a lifting
platform: the hoist ring should be used for this lifting method.

1 - Install copy plate with markings visible at the bottom right.
2 - Locate the 05 copy pin in the indexing hole of the plate.
3 - Place the 04 mill cutter flush with the back of the outer
frame (see diagram), then secure the plate.
4 - Align the centreline of the milling cutter with the machining
centreline of the profile and secure the latter with
the jackscrews.
5 - Place the copy pin in the relevant hole and machine

5 - Move the profile to the right until it rests against

7 - Release the stop block and move the blocked profile to
the left. Finish cut by raising the press.
4 MACHINING FOR DEAD BOLT
THROUGH HOLE
1 - Fit the profile round the punch
(the die slides through the thumb pull cut-out).
2 - Move the profile so that the upper section is
touching the die.
3 - Punch.
4 - Remove the profile by swinging it downwards.
