MOT DU DIRECTEUR
Chers membres CIRTA,
https://classevirtuelle.ulaval.ca/join_meeting.html?meetingId=1227022907103
Bonne semaine !

60 blogs en éducation
Thématique: The present post lists over sixty education blogs, an expansion and correction of earlier posts
"Thirty-two Education Blogs" and "Over Fifty Education Blogs." I have also indicated a few general
references to internet usage and blogging. But do blogs and blog lists contribute positively to the
dissemination of useful information? Responding to "Thirty-two Education Blogs," Anita Pincas
complained that few people have time to examine 32 blogs that keyword searches are not adequate for
"finding just what we need," and that "semantic web developments may help." Problems in finding just
what we need have recently been addressed by physicist Michael Nielsen, who argues that the internet
offers us the first majo opportunity to create: (a) a collective *long-term* working memory such as the
physics preprint arXiv <http://arxiv.org/> to replace the antiquated journal system, and (b) a collective
*short-term* working memory for the rapid collaborative development of ideas. Are blogs and discussion
lists harbingers of the latter?

Titre: IADIS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE MOBILE LEARNING 2009
Organisateur: Mobile Learning 2009 Program Chair: Inmaculada Arnedillo Sánchez, Trinity College
Dublin, Ireland
Thématique: User Created Content & Mobile Technologies: From Consumers to Creators bypassing the
Learning opportunity? Over the past three years Mobile and Social technologies have featured strongly in
the Horizon Report series which examines emerging technologies likely to have an impact on teaching,
learning. Mobile devices have progressed from an adoption projection of two to three years in 2006, to a
much more imminent adoption prediction trajectory of a year or less in 2008. Whether earlier the
educational value of mobile technologies was thought to be delivery of content to people’s devices, the
emphasis now has clearing changed to focus on their capabilities that enable users creating and sharing
content.

FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS: Special Issue Journal of Educational Technology & Society
Titre: Special Issue Journal of Educational Technology & Society - "Technology-Support for Self
Organized Learners"
Éditeurs: Marco Kalz & Rob Koper, Centre for Learning Sciences and Technologies (CELSTEC), Open
University of the Netherlands
Thématique: Self-organized learning covers ways of learning, which allow learners- in comparison to
traditional educational scenarios- a major dimension of self-determination and self-regulation: self
regulated learning is a self-initiated action that involves goal setting and regulating one's efforts to reach the
goal. Nowadays this way of learning is increasingly supported by interactive learning environments,
semantically enhanced content and social software (e.g. Wikis, Weblogs, ePortfolios, Social Bookmarks,
Social networks like YouTube, FaceBook, Flickr). Self-organized learning is a pre-requisite in learning
situations in which individuals have primary responsibility for the planning, the performance and
evaluation of learning activities in order to develop their competences in certain areas.
