 Montréal, September 24th, 2013 Dear Friends in Karate, Karate Canada is looking for volunteers to support international teams invited and ensure the organization of the Commonwealth Karate Championships that will take place from the 11th to the 13th of September in Montreal. If you are over 15 years old and are passionate about Karate, or just curious about knowing the backstage of an international sport event, apply on line through the “Volunteer” button on the official websites www.karatecommonwealth2013.com or www.karatecanada.org (see below the menu). Karate Canada needs people from Wednesday September 9th morning to Sunday 13th night included, for a half-­‐day shift at least. All volunteers must be available for a briefing session from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday October 10. Please ensure that you are available at this time and date. Assignations will be given during this session so we strongly recommend being there, but no mandatory. Come and get a first experience or come and share yours during this great Karate event. Karaté Canada recherche des bénévoles du mercredi 9 septembre au matin au dimanche 13 septembre au soir inclus, pour une demi-­‐journée minimum. Une formation se tiendra le jeudi 10 octobre, de 18h à 20h, au cours de laquelle la distribution des tâches sera effectuée. Compte tenu des possibles conflits d’horaire, cette rencontre est fortement recommandée, mais non obligatoire.
