Développement ATHENS November 2016 in Paris How to go: from/to About transportation in Paris and its area Students can buy books of 10 metro/bus tickets in any Métro or/and RER station. A ticket is valid for one ride only. Price list - A book of 10 tickets Inner-Paris (zones 1 & 2) costs 14,50 € - A book of 10 tickets from Paris to Noisy-Champs (RER station near ENPC Champs-sur Marne) costs 34,80 € - A book of 10 tickets from Paris to Massy-Palaiseau (RER station where to take the bus leading to ENSTA ParisTech) costs 28,40 € - A weekly travel pass called “Navigo Découverte” can also be bought in certain Métro and/or RER station (see the list here). The price of the pass itself is 5 €. You can then pay a flat rate of 22,15 € for an unlimited number of rides from zone 1 to zone 5 (that is, anywhere between Paris, ENPC champs-sur Marne and ENSTA ParisTech) from Monday to Sunday (it hence won’t include whatever ride you’ll want to take the week-end before the scientific courses start). Please refer to SNCF Transilien Route planner to prepare for your rides. We hereby propose principal rides you may have to prepare in advance to give you an idea on how to go from/to. Développement When arriving in Paris on Friday How to go to the CISP/Résidence Kellermann 17 Boulevard Kellermann, 75013 Paris From Roissy Charles De Gaulle Take the RER line B to “Gare du Nord” and then follow the instructions below to go from “Gare du Nord” to the CISP/Résidence Kellermann. From Gare du Nord Take the Métro line 5 direction “Place d’Italie”; change at the station “Place d’Italie” for line 7 (direction “Mairie d’Ivry”) and get out at the station “Porte d’Italie”. Then take the boulevard Kellermann. From Orly Airport Take the Orlyval train at Orly direction “Antony”. At “Antony” take the RER train line B direction “Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV” and get out at “Cité Universitaire” Station. Take the Tram T3 direction “Porte d’Ivry” and get out at “Porte d’Italie” stop. Then turn back and walk on the right side of Boulevard Kellermann till the Residence (n°17). Take the Roissy Bus direction “Opera” and get out at the end-of-line. Take either the bus 21 direction “Stade Charléty – Porte de Gentilly” or the bus 27 direction “Porte d’Ivry” at stop “Auber” across the rue Auber, and get out at stop “Luxembourg”. From Gare du Nord Take the RER line B direction “Robinson / Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse” and get out at “Luxembourg” Station. MINES ParisTech is next to the Luxembourg gardens on the Boulevard, n° 60. Take the Métro line 7 at the station “Porte d’Italie” direction “La Courneuve” and get out at “Censier Daubenton”. Take the rue Monge then turn right on to the rue Claude Bernard. Then AgroParisTech is on the right at number 16. How to go to AgroParisTech (Maine) 19 Avenue du Maine 75014 PARIS From the CISP/Résidence Kellermann, the ride takes approx. 30 minutes. Take the tram T3 at the “Poterne des peupliers” stop direction “Pont du Garigliano” and get out at “Porte d’Orléans” stop. Take the Metro line 4 at “Porte d’Orléans” direction “Porte de Clignancourt”. Get out at “Montparnasse Bienvenüe” and follow the signs to take the exit “Montparnasse Bienvenüe” which leads directly to Avenue du Maine. Go down Avenue du Maine, AgroParisTech (Maine) is on the right, n° 19. How to go to AgroParisTech (Massy) 1 Avenue des Olympiades 91300 MASSY From the CISP/Résidence Kellermann, the ride takes approx. 60 minutes. Take the tram T3 at the “Porte d’Italie” stop direction “Pont du Garigliano” and get out at “Cité Universitaire” stop. Take the RER line B at “Cité Universitaire” direction “Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse” or “Massy-Palaiseau” (train “KOCQ”, “PAPA”, or “KUBE”). Get out at the station “Les Baconnets” and reach the bus stop “Les Baconnets - RER (Antony)” on rue de Massy. Take the bus 119 direction “Massy Palaiseau” and get out at “Bourgogne (Massy)”. Go back to Avenue de Bourgogne, take it on the right, then take the rue des Olympiades at the roundabout. AgroParisTech (Massy) is at the end of the rue des Olympiades, n°1. How to go to Arts et Métiers ParisTech 155 Boulevard de l’Hôpital, 75013 PARIS From the CISP/Résidence Kellermann, the ride takes approx. 25 minutes. Take the metro line 7 at the station “Porte d’Italie” direction “La Courneuve” and get out at the station “Place d’Italie”. Walk down the Boulevard de l’Hôpital. Arts et Métiers ParisTech is 4 minutes’ walk from the Station on the right, n°155. Walk down the streets rue Ortolan and Pot de Fer, then turn right on street Lhomond and left on street d’Ulm. Follow the signs to the entrance of Chimie ParisTech. How to go to ENSTA Paris Tech 828 Boulevards des Maréchaux, 91120 PALAISEAU From the CISP/Résidence Kellermann, the ride takes approx. 60 minutes. Take the tram T3 at the “Poterne des peupliers” stop direction “Pont du Garigliano” and get out at “Cité Universitaire” stop. Take the RER line B at “Cité Universitaire” direction “Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse”, “Orsay Ville” or “Massy-Palaiseau” (train “PAPA”, “LALA” or “KUBE”). Get out at the station “MassyPalaiseau” and change for the bus Albatrans EXPRESS 91-06 direction “Christ / N306”. Get out at “ENSTA – Joncherettes”. Tip: The weekly travel pass “Navigo Découverte” is the cheapest option to go to ENSTA! Get out at the station “Corvisart” then walk down the Boulevard Blanqui, taking the first street on the left which is the rue Barrault. How to go to Ecole des Ponts (ENPC) at Champs-sur-Marne 6&8 Avenue Blaise Pascal, Cité Descartes, Champs/Marne 77455 Marne la Vallée From the CISP/Résidence Kellermann, the ride takes approx. 80 minutes. Take the tram T3 at the “Poterne des peupliers” stop direction “Pont du Garigliano” and get out at “Cité Universitaire” stop. Take the RER line B at “Cité Universitaire” direction “Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 – TGV / Mitry-Claye”. Get out at the station “Châtelet – Les Halles” and change for RER line A direction “Marne-la Vellée / Chessy”. Get out at “Noisy-Champs”. Go to the head of the train and go out of the station on the “Cité Descartes side”. Follow signs to Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (ENPC), 6 and 8 B. Pascal, Cité Descartes.
