The European Job Fair will be held on Saturday, 4 October 2008 at
the Centre des Congrès de la Villette in Paris (level -1).
Free admission
A space dedicated to recruitment
A 1,100 sq. m exhibition area open on a mezzanine spanning three different areas.
■ 1 Orientation Information Village, 40 agencies specialized in European mobility
■ 1 Recruitment Village: 50 European companies looking for employees
■ 1 Workshop Village: 8 interactive sessions on country destinations.
Opening hours: 10.00 am-6.00 pm

10.00 am - Opening of European Job Fair
10.15-11.15 am - Round table discussion: “Managing international mobility in my company”
10.15-11.15 am - Information workshops

■ “Living and working in Ireland”»
11.30 am-1.00 pm - Fair visit by special guests (Vladimir Spidla, European Commissioner,
French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment, EURES members, GM of ANPE),
press conference and cocktail party.
2.00-4.00 pm - Interactive workshops: resume, cover letter, etc.

2.30-4.30 pm - Lecture forum "Europe of Tomorrow, Jobs of Tomorrow"
The main speakers at the lecture, which will bring together roughly 400 professionals, will be
Jean-Christophe Victor, Director of the laboratory of political and mapping studies and
designer/host of the TV program le dessous des cartes (beneath the maps) on ARTE, Wallis
Goelen, Head of the European Commission “Mobility” Unit, and executives from large national
corporations.

Car – Taxi – Coach
By road
Take the Boulevard Périphérique (ringroad) or the "boulevard extérieur" (peripheral boulevard)
and exit at Porte de la Villette.
Car park
Entrance from Quai de la Charente. Open every day, 24 hours.
1,600 underground spaces with direct access to the centre of the Cité.
Taxi drop-off
Entrance from Quai de la Charente or Boulevard McDonald.
Direct access to the Cité esplanade.
Coach station
Entrance from Boulevard McDonald - 36 spots.
Free drop-off for 30 minutes.
Direct access to the Cité esplanade.
Bus
PC1, 2 and 3, Buses 75, 139, 150, 152, 249 and Noctambus N42.
Get off at: Porte de la Villette.

Permanent access to the convention centre
Throughout the event, directions to the Centre des Congrès de la Villette will be indicated from
each of the Cité entrances. For security reasons and due to the private nature of the events,
convention attendees and visitors must show the badge provided by the organizers to enter the
convention centre.
