Other tools will be provided and set up during the session. Résumé: This session will be a practical introduction to semantic web technologies, focusing on (1) the construction of ontologies and semantic datasets using Protégé; (2) semantic exploitation of datasets using SPARQL; and (3) publication of semantic datasets using the Linked Data principles. (1) and (2) will also serve to illustrate the contribution of automated reasoning to ensure the consistency of the dataset and to infer new information.
