STANDARDS-BASED PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT Language: French Level: 135, 235, 336, 446 Theme/Important Question: Noël/Qu’est-ce que les français font pour Noël? Sub-Questions: How do I want others to perceive me? What are my goals? (i.e. in life/in school/in the future) How am I willing to be myself? GOALS: What should students know and be able to do by the end of the unit? 1. SWBAT identify & understand French Christmas traditions and practices. 2. SWBAT perform a concert and sing French Christmas carols with improved pronunciation. 3. SWBAT compare and contrast French Christmas traditions to their own family traditions. 4. SWBAT formulate questions about a story, questions to ask a classmate, and the appropriate use of question words. 5. Students will be prepared for finals.
