An Act to make consequential amendments resulting from the
enactment of The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Act

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of
Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:
Short title
1 This Act may be cited as The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Consequential
Amendments Act, 2013.
S.S. 1995, c.E-0.2, section 185 amended
2 Subsection 185(2) of The Education Act, 1995 is amended by striking
out “Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology” and substituting
“Saskatchewan Polytechnic”.
R.R.S. c.E-0.2 Reg 11 amended
3(1) The Teacher Certification and Classification Regulations, 2002 are amended
in the manner set forth in this section.
(2)
Subsection 2(1) is amended by repealing the definition of “SIAST”.
(3) Subsection 2(4) is amended by striking out “SIAST” and substituting
“the Saskatchewan Polytechnic”.
(4) Subsection 2(5) is amended by striking out “SIAST” and substituting
“the Saskatchewan Polytechnic”.
(5) Subsection 5.3(2) is amended by striking out “SIAST” and substituting
“the Saskatchewan Polytechnic”.
Coming into force
4 This Act comes into force on the day on which section 1 of The Saskatchewan
Polytechnic Act comes into force.

Titre abrégé
1 Loi de 2013 portant modifications corrélatives à la loi intitulée The Saskatchewan
Polytechnic Act.
Modification de l’article 185 du ch. E-0.2 des L.S. 1995
2 Le paragraphe 185(2) de la Loi de 1995 sur l’éducation est modifié par
suppression de « le Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology »
et son remplacement par « la Saskatchewan Polytechnic ».
Modification du Règl. 11 des R.R.S. ch. E-0.2
3(1) Le Règlement de 2002 sur l’attribution des brevets aux enseignants et la
classification des enseignants est modifié de la manière énoncée au présent article.
(2) Le paragraphe 2(1) est modifié par abrogation de la définition de
« SIAST ».
(3) Le paragraphe 2(4) est modifié par suppression de « le SIAST » et son
remplacement par « la Saskatchewan Polytechnic ».
(4) Le paragraphe 2(5) est modifié par suppression de « le SIAST » et son
remplacement par « la Saskatchewan Polytechnic ».
(5) Le paragraphe 5.3(2) est modifié par suppression de « le SIAST » et
son remplacement par « la Saskatchewan Polytechnic ».
Entrée en vigueur
4 La présente loi entre en vigueur le jour de l’entrée en vigueur de l’article 1 de la
loi intitulée The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Act.
