Purpose of the PIC
Other Ways to Participate
A second round of Public Information
Centres (PICs) is being held to provide the
public and other interested stakeholders
with an opportunity to review and discuss the
study with members of the Project Team.
If you are unable to attend the PIC, all PIC
material will be posted to our website
(www.wolfeislandferryea.ca) following the
meetings. You can provide your
comments via the information provided
below or through our website “Contact Us”
form. You can also keep up to date on the
project by following us on Twitter
@WolfeIslandEA. This will be the second
of three PICs held for the study. The third
is tentatively scheduled for Winter 2017.
The purpose of the PIC is to review and
obtain input on new and revised alternatives.
New alternatives have been developed
based on the input received during our
previous round of consultation in the
Spring/Summer.
Comments
Dates and Locations
The PIC will follow a “drop-in” format
without formal presentations. The PIC will
be held on the following dates:
Morrison Hershfield Limited has been
retained by the Ministry of Transportation
to conduct a Preliminary Design and
Class Environmental Assessment for the
Wolfe Island Ferry and Docking
Improvements. As part of this process we
are hosting a round of Public Information
Centres to allow the public an opportunity
to review and discuss the study with
members of the Study Team.

d'information publique (SIP) aura lieu afin de
fournir au public et aux autres intervenants
intéressés l'occasion d'examiner le rapport
et de discuter de l'étude avec les membres
de l'équipe du projet.

également vous tenir au fait du projet en nous

deuxième de trois séances d’information
relativement à cette étude. Une troisième séance
d’information est provisoirement prévue à l’hiver
2017.
L’objectif de la SIP consiste à passer l’étude
en revue et à recueillir des commentaires
sur de nouvelles solutions de rechange et
des mises à jour. De nouvelles solutions de
rechange ont été élaborées en fonction des
commentaires
reçus
lors de
notre
précédente ronde de consultations au
printemps et à l’été.
Dates et lieux
Le ministère des Transports de l’Ontario a
retenu les services de Morrison Hershfield
Limited pour effectuer une conception
préliminaire
et
une
évaluation
environnementale de portée générale sur
les améliorations au traversier et au quai
de l’île Wolfe. Dans le cadre de ce
processus, nous organisons une série de
centres d’information pour donner au
public l’occasion d’examiner l’étude avec
les membres de l’équipe et d’en discuter
avec eux.
La SIP sera d’entrée libre, sans exposés
officiels, et ce, aux dates suivantes:
