Robert Stewart practises business law and he has developed a broad range of experience
acting on M&A transactions, IPOs and other public capital-raising transactions, venture
capital deals, joint ventures and partnerships, and the negotiation of major services and
outsourcing arrangements. Before joining Miller Thomson, Robert worked in international
taxation law at one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
Robert provides legal advice and services to all manner of clients, including public and
private companies, large and small businesses, and financial institutions. He has a particular
interest in advising start-ups and other emerging businesses. Robert’s approach is practical
but creative, and is in touch with the needs of entrepreneurial clients.
Robert has more recently assisted the firm’s Social Impact Group in advising social impact
enterprises and developing social finance solutions.
