Fishmart Hours: Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed Sunday. We have
lobsters, lobster meat, fresh fish, mussels, Island products and gift baskets.

The Residents’ Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the
Boardroom of the Municipal Building. The Agenda to approve Bylaw Enforcement Project

ROAST BEEF DINNER - PALMER ROAD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Palmer Road Knights of Columbus invite you to a Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, October
3rd beginning at 12:00 noon. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, roll, dessert

LE GÉNÉALOGISTE STEPHEN WHITE SERA AU MUSÉE ACADIEN
Stephen A. White, généalogiste du Centre d’études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson à l’Université de
Moncton et auteur du livre Dictionnaire généalogique des familles acadiennes, sera au Musée acadien
à Miscouche le samedi 2 octobre à 14h00 pour faire une présentation sur l’utilisation de l’ADN (DNA)
dans les recherches généalogiques. La conférence sera en français avec une période de questions en

LE CLUB DES COEURS JOYEUX
Would you like to meet people and enjoy yourself? The Group meets every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at
the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest in DeBlois. Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September
28th at 12:00 p.m. We have different activities including card games. We wish to invite anyone (even
if you are not 50) to join us and bring your ideas for activities.

VARIETY SHOW - HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
There will be a Variety Show at Westisle on Sunday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00 for
adults and $5.00 for children. The show will feature a variety of wonderful local talent. All proceeds go
towards Habitat for Humanity. Please come out and support this great cause!

FUNDRAISER BINGO
The Golden Slipper Friends of the Tignish Seniors Home will be hosting a chip Bingo on Sunday,
October 3rd at the Tignish Fire Hall at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $5.00. Lots of great prizes to be won....
so, come out and enjoy a great afternoon while supporting our Group as they fundraise to furnish the
common area in our new wing. Reminder: To anyone who was asked to donate prizes for this day to
please drop them off at the Seniors’ Home soon. Thank you!
PRIZE BINGO FOR WEST PRINCE GIRLS SOCCER TEAM
There will be a Prize Bingo for the West Prince Girls Soccer Team, who are going to Nationals in Ontario,
on Sunday, September 26th at 2:00 p.m. at the Tignish Legion. Admission is $6.00 each.

We, the family of the late Reggie Doucette, would like to express our sincere thanks to all who attended
the wake and funeral, to David Smith and Rooney’s Funeral Home for their professional services at our
time of grief, to Father Jim Willick for prayers and the beautiful funeral service, to the choir, organist and
especially Connie LeClair who sang at the funeral service, to the pallbearers, the flower bearers, the
servers and readers. Also, we would like to thank all those who visited, who sent cards, flowers and mass
requests, phone calls and food that was brought to our homes. A special thank you to the Tignish CWL
for the luncheon provided after the funeral and to those who opened and closed the grave. Your kindness
and thoughfulness was deeply appreciated.
