Château des Vigiers is an internationally renowned Hotel, Golf and Country Club in the beautiful and unspoilt
countryside of the Dordogne, South West France, right in the heart of the famous wine districts. Located
about an hour east of Bordeaux, Château des Vigiers is easily accessible from Bordeaux or Toulouse airport.
Château des Vigiers, a luxurious 4-star hotel with 87 rooms and suites forms the centrepiece of a
magnificent 27 hole championship style golf course designed by Donald Steel.
The Maria Galland™ Beauty Centre offers a variety of professional beauty treatments, as well as a sauna,
steam room, Jacuzzi, outdoor heated swimming pool and fitness centre which is a real bonus for non-golfing
guests.
Château des Vigiers is the perfect base from which to explore the region; the famous towns and attractions
such as St Emilion, Sarlat, Lascaux and Bergerac are all within easy reach.
Accommodation
Château des Vigiers has a total of 87 rooms housed in three different buildings on the estate: the Château and
Dépendances and the Relais, all within close proximity of the restaurants, golf course and the other facilities.
The Château & Dépendances
The Château has been carefully restored in French Country House style and retains many of the original 16th Century
features giving a warm and romantic atmosphere.
“Deluxe” Rooms have views over the golf course or the park.
“Classic” Rooms are located in the patio wing of the Château
“Junior Suite” Dépendances. consist of a light, airy sitting room with double height ceilings and terrace on the ground
floor and the bedroom and bathroom on the mezzanine floor
Relais des Vigiers
Relais des Vigiers is located within a few yards from the Château. Its 40 rooms are specifically geared to golfers, families
or business and seminars meetings. The building itself takes its inspiration from the ancient tobacco barns and it is
built according to strict “Eco Friendly” standards. The Relais houses its own breakfast room, bar, heated swimming pool
and high tech fitness centre.
Restaurants
Brasserie “Le Chai”
The Brasserie is situated in the old wine making building. The cuisine serves lighter meals such as omelettes or salads as
well full menus including local specialities such as foie gras and confit de canard.
Gourmet Restaurant “Les Fresques”
With a cosy and chic atmosphere, diners enjoy superb views over the lake and a high standard of cuisine accompanied by
discreet and professional service.

of Bordeaux airport. There are many direct flights to

By Road

Many guests choose to take the super fast TGV train from Paris.
It takes 3 hours to Libourne station, on the Bordeaux line,
