Nice is a French city, located on the French Riviera. It is the pole of a urban area which
counts 933 080 inhabitants.
Nice is the second touristic city just after Paris. As it’s also confronted to long distance
land communication problems (because of the Alps mountains chain) , it possesses the
second French airport, according to its frequentation (almost 10 000 000 passengers in
2005) .
The need
The town police has to assure the road security, to do red-handed report, to assure
schools surroundings protection, to provide assistance to the public highway's users.
Placed under the Mayor's responsibility, it can also operate with the National Police or
the constabulary.
Video surveillance is the best way to coordinate all the police forces on such a site as a
huge agglomeration.
The result

Retained knowledge
The operators have immediately agreed with the project and especially with the brand
new ergonomics they were offered. One more success for VSC, which easy using and
functional resources are always demanded.
