LAWRENCE COLLEGE (KINGSTON) COLLEGE DE VALLEYFIELD VANIER MESSAGE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS On behalf of the Vanier College Business Administration Dept., and as chief organizer of the Case Challenge, I am pleased to welcome you to our 6th Vanier College BDC Case Challenge. In 2011, we welcome participants from technical and community colleges and cégeps from across Canada: nine colleges from Quebec, twelve from Ontario, one from Nova Scotia, one from New Brunswick, one from Prince Edward Island, one from Alberta, and two from British Columbia. Vanier College is extremely proud of the fact that the Case Challenge has become the largest Canadian Case Competition at this level in Canada. Chaque établissement doit fournir une équipe composé de trois étudiants. Teams are sequestered before going into isolation for three hours to analyze and develop appropriate solutions for a case that they have not seen before. The internet is not to be used and cell phones are not permitted in the isolation rooms. Les équipes seront mises en isolement 3 heures avant de présenter leur étude de cas. Chacune de ces salles sera équipée d’un ordinateur portable. L’étude de cas et la présentation PowerPoint doivent être réalisées à l’intérieur de ce délai. Aucune autre article ni appareil électronique ne sont permis dans les salles d’isolement. Il n’y a aucun accès Internet. All 27 teams will present the same case on Saturday. Au total, 27 équipes présenteront la même étude cas au jury le samedi. Presentations must not exceed 20 minutes. Les présentations ne doivent pas dépasser 20 minutes. The top 2 teams from each division will compete in the finals on Sunday. Les 6 meilleures équipes (deux équipes dans chaque salle) seront annoncées le soir au diner gala. Ces 6 équipes accéderont à la finale du dimanche matin le 13 février 2011.
