Cette voiture a t vendue neuve en Avignon et, depuis, elle est toujours reste dans la rgion, situation exceptionnelle
pour une voiture de ce type. En 1994 et 1995, elle appartenait une socit qui l'avait achete son probable premier
propritaire, avant de passer entre les mains d'un collectionneur du Vaucluse qui l'a conserve jusqu'en 2009. Il l'a
alors cde son voisin, l'actuel vendeur de la voiture, un porschiste perfectionniste possdant galement une 993 RS. De
teinte "Grand Prix Weiss" d'origine, elle est accompagne d'un dossier de factures du garage Baumet, partir de 1995,
date laquelle elle avait parcouru 13 595 km. La voiture est absolument conforme l'origine, avec son tiquette
constructeur bien prsente sous le capot et, l'avant, les boulons de fixation des chapelles d'amortisseurs comportant
encore les marques de montage. Le fond du compteur kilomtrique a t remplac chez un spcialiste alors que la voiture
affichait 31 000 km. Compte tenu de son tat, cette voiture a remport un premier prix lors d'une runion organise par le
Porsche club de France, l'occasion des 20 ans de la RS. Elle est complte avec sa pochette contenant les diffrents
manuels livrs avec la voiture (dont son carnet d'entretien tamponn), sa trousse outils et le double des cls. La 964 RS
tait drive de la Carrera 2 dvoile en 1989 et correspondant la troisime gnration de 911, la dernire avant que la forme
ne s'loigne plus nettement de la toute premire version. La RS, qui renouait pour la premire fois avec les deux lettres
prestigieuses depuis la 2.7 RS de 1972, tait une comptition/client conue pour pouvoir s'engager en Gr. N/GT, tout en
tant homologue pour la route. Les modifications visaient l'allgement et la RS comportait donc un habitacle dpouill
(absence de siges arrire, d'air conditionn, d'assistance de direction, notamment) et un capot en aluminium. Ct
mcanique, le six-cylindres 3,6 litres plat recevait des arbres cames et un botier lectronique spciaux, ce qui faisait
passer la puissance 260 ch. Ajoutez-y des modifications de suspension, et vous vous trouvez en face d'une voiture
radicale, dote d'un excellent rapport poids-puissance et d'une maniabilit sans pareille, idale pour tourner sur circuit. Il
est rare d'en trouver un exemplaire dans l'tat exceptionnel qu'affiche celui que nous prsentons. French title Chassis n

since 1995 - Just 50 255 km from new This car was sold new in Avignon, and has remained in the region ever since,
which is highly unusual for a car of this kind. In 1994 and 1995, it belonged to a company who is believed to have
been the second owner. It then passed in to the hands of a collector from Vaucluse who kept the car until 2009. He
sold it to his neighbour, the current vendor, a Porschiste perfectionist, who also owns a 993 RS. Presented in the
original " Grand Prix Weiss ", it comes with a file of invoices from the Baumet garage, dating from 1995 when it had
covered 13,595 km. The car conforms completely to the original, with the constructor's plaque evident under the
bootlid and, at the front, the fixing bolts for the shock absorber housings complete with their mounting marks. The
back of the kilometric odometer was replaced by a specialist when the car had covered 31,000 km. Unsurprisingly,
given its condition, this Porsche won first prize at a meeting organised by the Porsche Club of France to mark 20
years of the RS. The car is complete with wallet containing the various manuals that were delivered with the car,
(including the stamped service book), its toolkit and a second set of keys. The 964 RS was derived from the Carrera
2 unveiled in 1989, and represents the third generation 911, the last before the styling departed markedly from the
first version. The RS, which re-used for the first time the two prestigious letters last seen on the 1972 2.7 RS, was a
competition/client model designed to compete in Gr. N/GT, while being homologated for road use. The modifications
were intended to keep the weight down and so the interior was stripped (notably no rear seats, air-conditioning or
power steering), and it had a aluminium bonnet. On the mechanical side, the 3.6-litre flat-six engine had overhead
cams and a special electronic gearbox that boosted the power to 260 bhp. With additional modifications to the
suspension, the result was a radical car, with an excellent power-to-weight ratio and unequalled handling, that makes
it ideal for circuit use. It is rare to find an example that is in such an exceptional condition as the one we are offering
