Postdoctoral Research Fellow « Organic synthesis of new additives
Postdoctoral Research Fellow « Organic synthesis of new additives for electrolyte in photovoltaic dye-sensitized solar cells” Context: This job opportunity is an one year postdoctoral position at the “laboratoire de réactivité et chimie des solides” CNRS UMR 7314 (www.u-picardie.fr/labo/lrcs) and “Laboratoire de Glycochimie, des Antimicrobiens et des agro-ressources” CNRS UMR 7378. “Photoelectrochemistry and photovoltaics” is the most recent thematic developed in the lab, including activities on dye-sensitized solar cells and perovskite. We are capitalizing important knowledge in stability and degradation mechanisms in dyesensitized solar cells since 2010. Mission: This position is devoted to the synthesis of new organic additives which will be incorporated into new type of electrolytes of dye-sensitized solar cells. The candidate will work on the organic chemistry part of the project which will include a team of post-docs devoted to device fabrication, measurements and characterization by (J-V) characteristics, quantum efficiency, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, IMVS-IMPS, TCSPC and ns-TAS. Candidate profile: The candidate must have a Ph-D in organic chemistry with strong synthetic background. Basics in dyesensitized solar cells and analytical chemistry will be a plus but not mandatory. The candidate needs to demonstrate an excellent experience in synthesis, NMR, LC-MS and FT-IR techniques. The selected researcher needs to demonstrate motivation and significant investment to join the group. Duration : 12 months Location: Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides (UMR CNRS 7314) and Laboratoire de Glycochimie, des Antimicrobiens et des agro-ressources (UMR CNRS 7378) in Amiens, France Application deadline: November, 31st 2016. Approximate starting date: January, 2nd 2017. To apply, please send a CV, cover letter and two recommendation letters to: Dr. Frédéric Sauvage: [email protected] Prof. Albert Nguyen Van Nhien: [email protected]
