Objectifs :
Général : faire connaissance, introduire le thème du semestre « means of
transportation »
Compétences : expression et compréhension orale
Fonctions : parler de son projet personnel et professionnel
Lexique : les parcours de formation avant, pendant et après le DUT, les compétences, les
qualités et les défauts
+ Expressions, grammaire, phonologie : rappels ponctuels en fonction des besoins
Instructions :
- Today I'd like you to introduce yourself to the class and to describe your past and present
career plan. I'd like you to do so using the drawing of a vehicle.
→ Projection du transparent "Me and my career plan" : Here is an example. You can draw
any vehicle you want but your presentation should necessarily include information about:
- your career plan when you arrived at the IUT
- your current career plan
+ your motivations
- your A-Levels, the degrees you need to take to achieve your goals
- the skills that are required in your future career
- your strengths and weaknesses
Don't forget to prepare a tool box with the technical glossary so that we can follow your
description and start to learn some basic technical vocabulary.
You have 15 minutes to prepare your visual.
At the end of each presentation, I will ask someone to comment on the career plan that has
been presented.
