TF1 RATING CHAMPION TV MOVIE WOMAN UNDER INFLUENCE
SOLD IN SPAIN TO ATRESMEDIA
TF1 International is pleased to announce the sale of WOMAN UNDER INFLUENCE, in
Spain to Atresmedia. This outstanding TV movie has drawn up to ten million TV viewers on
TF1 (35% audience share and 42% of WPDM<>. Those ratings are the highest for a French
TV movie since 2007. The show has also generated huge buzz on TF1's social media,
reaching nearly four million people.
The program was sold ahead of MIPTV, where Woman under influence will have its official
launch.

Pitch:
WOMEN UNDER INFLUENCE is based on a true story.
This terrible and moving drama is the story of a mother of four children who finds herself on
the dock in Court for murdering her husband, a man who beat and tortured her throughout
the 17 years of their marriage. Terrified, living a nightmare under her own roof, Alexandra
tried everything to break free or get help without endangering her kids. In vain. Utterly alone
in her struggle, she finally fights back and kills her husband to stay alive and save her
children.
Relating the three-day trial of a woman with everything to lose, we are plunges into the
everyday life of Alexandra, showing how society has failed to protect her and her children
from the clutch of her husband.
