located beside the Mediterranean sea.

It gets its name from a nun, who, according to legend,
was the daughter of the Count of Grasse, the Lord of Antibes.
There is no document to confirm this but the fact remains
that Sainte-Maxime is the Patron Saint of the town
and that she is remembered each year
on 14th and 15th May during the Fête Votive.
