Thursdays 9:30 am11:00 am Men Stopping Violence MSV works locally, nationally and internationally to dismantle belief systems, social structures and institutional practices that oppress women and children and dehumanize men themselves. We look to the violence against women’s movement to keep the reality of the problem and the vision of the solution before us. We believe that all forms of oppression are interconnected. Social justice work in the areas of race, class, gender, age and sexual orientation are all critical to ending violence against women. The class examines men’s use of abusive and intimidating tactics against women, and tactics used to enforce and maintain power and control. The use of videos and other educational materials prompt men to engage in a dialogue that explores their behavioral choices. The MSV 24-week course offers men the education and the tools they need to begin changing violent and abusive behavior. The course is for anyone who wants to live more peacefully, establish meaningful relationships in their lives, and create safe communities for women and girls. In this course, men will receive information about violence against women, interact with other men, and complete The CORE exercises that help deepen their understanding of ways to make healthy and safe 5200 Hwy 49 North Mariposa, Ca 95338 choices. The course has three units, each with two to four lessons. 209-742-6447 FAX: 209-742-6450 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected] Clarence Tedrow 209-742-6447 [email protected]
