The new, full-service hospital will be the first
hospital to be built in Montgomery County in
35 years. It will serve the most rapidly growing
region in Montgomery County and improve
access to high-quality care in an area that has,
by far, the largest concentration of people
without a hospital in the state.

Holy Cross Germantown Hospital will offer
emergency, medical, surgical, obstetric and
psychiatric care, along with an on-site medical
office building, to meet a full range of community
needs. All patient rooms will be private to
enhance patient safety and satisfaction, as well
as patient, family and visitor comfort.
Innovative Technology and Design
Unique Education Partnership
The six-story, 237,000-square-foot, 93-bed Holy
Cross Germantown Hospital has been designed
to enhance patient care and will be equipped
with the latest technology. The facility will
feature sustainable design elements to achieve
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
(LEED) Gold certification, as well as a healing
garden to facilitate quiet, contemplative moments
for patients, visitors and clinicians.
As the anchor tenant of Montgomery College’s
Hercules Pinkney Life Sciences Park, Holy Cross
Germantown Hospital will serve as a valuable
educational resource for aspiring health care
workers. The partnership with Montgomery
College will benefit the region for generations
to come and will serve as a partnership model
for other hospitals and community colleges
across the nation.

Holy Cross Germantown Hospital is conveniently
located right off I-270, near the intersection
of Middlebrook Road and Observation Drive.
The hospital will be accessible by public
transportation.
With the opening of Holy Cross Germantown
Hospital in 2014, Holy Cross Health will operate
two hospitals, a network of three health centers,
and a range of innovative exercise, health
education and self-care management programs.
Holy Cross Health is a member of CHE Trinity
Health of Livonia, Mich., one of the largest health
systems in the country.
