The Peel District School Board is one of Canada`s largest
public school board, serving more than 150,000 students
in kindergarten to grade 12. Operating 235 schools in the
municipalities of Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga,
the Peel board is the largest employer in Peel. The
board`s annual budget is $1.2 billion.

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is the
successor to The Dufferin-Peel Roman Catholic District
School Board, which was established in 1969 by the
merger of eight small separate boards. The board’s
jurisdiction extends throughout the municipalities of
Mississauga, Brampton, Bolton, Caledon, Orangeville and
Dufferin County. Dufferin-Peel is one of the largest and
fastest growing school boards in Ontario.

Durham Catholic District School Board provides
education to some 25,000 students in an area which
includes Lake Ontario to the south, Oshawa to the east,
Pickering to the west and the Townships of Scugog,
Brock and Uxbridge to the north. Of the Board’s student
population, 4.8% of students have a first language other
than the language of instruction (English).

The York Region District School Board is a leading
provider of public education, offering a comprehensive
range of programs and services with a commitment to
excellence in learning. York Region is the third largest
school board in Ontario with over 113,000 students. The
Board has opened 73 new schools since 1999 and
completed major additions to 38 other schools to meet
