ASIFE Association des STS d’ile de France pour une poursuite d’études à l’étranger
Association of Paris aera STS classes aiming to promote international postgraduate studies
Le but de cette association est de favoriser la poursuite d'études des élèves issus des sections
de BTS dans les pays étrangers et dans la mesure du possible de faciliter l'accueil de ces
élèves dans les pays concernés. Parallèlement et réciproquement l'association encourage et
accompagne dans la limite de ses moyens l'accueil d'étudiants étrangers dans les sections de
BTS en France.
The purpose of this association is to facilitate the pursuit(continuation) of studies of the pupils stemming from
sections of BTS(TWO-YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE) in foreign countries and as possible to facilitate the
reception of these pupils in the concerned countries. At the same time and mutually the association encourages
and accompanies within the limits of its means the reception of foreign students in the sections of BTS(TWOYEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE) in France.

Liste des Diplômes :
Le B.eng (Bachelor in Engineering) mention Honours (la note doit être supérieure ou
égale à 50/100 ou 10/20 dans toutes les matières)
C'est le diplôme académique qui permet de devenir ingénieur en Grande Bretagne après 3 ou
4 ans en entreprise. Il est spécialisé dans un domaine précis. Il permet aussi de poursuivre les
études en 4ème année.
Il fonctionne avec le système des crédits ects : le BTS donne l'équivalence de 240 ects. Il faut
obtenir 120 ects pour réussir. Le projet représente 36 ects.
Donc obtenir le diplôme du BTS est OBLIGATOIRE
Avec des notes ou crédits légèrement inférieurs on obtient le Beng ordinary ou pass.
C'est un diplôme BAC + 3 il ne permet pas de devenir ingénieur dans le système britannique.
Avec des notes plus faibles encore et un investissement insuffisant en projet, c'est l'échec

Le Bsc (Bachelor in sciences) est plus flexible, a plus d'options, est moins ciblé. Il existe
aussi les mentions honours (notes>50/100) (qui permet de poursuivre en 4ème année)ou
ordinary avec des notes légèrement inférieures.
Remarque : quand l'étudiant revient en France, les B-eng ordinary, Bsc ordinary, B-eng
honours et Bsc honours sont quasiment équivalents pour la recherche d'emploi.

Les finances : Bourse, emprunts, jobs
Les bourses françaises : Si vous êtes boursier l'Etat français vous reconduit la même bourse
pour l'année suivante. en Grande Bretagne.
Bourses Anglaises : n'existent qu'à HUDDERSFIELD : 500 livres par an sous conditions de
ressources des parents.
L'emprunt étudiant : Les études en G.B. sont financées par la Couronne Britannique, la
Communauté Européenne et les étudiants. La part payée par les étudiants est de 3200 livres.
(sauf à GLAMORGAN - 1200 livres) (et à EDINBURGH - O LIVRE)
La part n'est pas payée tout de suite, mais après l'emprunt contracté sur place.
Le prêt est remboursable que lorsque le salaire dépasse 2000 € environ par mois (modalités de
remboursement précisés sur les contrat de l'emprunt).
Les jobs : il est conseillé de chercher un job pour aider au financement des études.
