Checklist: important documents to bring with you
Researchers doing a more than 3-month-research stay are mainly concerned by this entire checklist.
The documents required might vary regarding the duration of your stay.

Hosting agreement
For third-country scientists only
o
Passport and/or national identity card Visa
o
Formulaire de demande d’attestation OFII (pour les personnes concernées)
o
Visa if required
o
Any health insurance documents
o
Birth certificate (+ translation made by a translator certified by a French court of appeal and
an apostille or a legalization if requested)
o
Marriage certificate (+translation made by a translator certified by a French court of appeal)
o
Proof of income for the previous fiscal years (Y-1 et Y-2)
o
The original copies of your university degrees
o
Vaccination certificates (yours and your family’s one)
o
Your children’s school reports/records
o
Driving licence
o
Vehicle papers (If you bring your vehicle with you to France)
