Winnie the witch lives in a black house with her black cat Wilbur.
Wilbur has got green eyes. When Wilbur closes his eyes, Winnie can't see him.
So she decides to change Wilbur's colour. Abracadabra! Now Wilbur is green. But when Wilbur is
on the grass, Winnie can't see him.
So she decides to change Wilbur's colour again. Abracadabra! Now Wilbur is multicoloured.
But everybody laughs at him: « A red head, a yellow body, a pink tail... Ah! Ah! Ah! » Wilbur is
ridiculous. So Winnie waves her magic wand. Abracadabra! Now Wilbur is black again and Winnie's
house is multicoloured.


My name is Helen Cheal, I am 16 years old. My birthday is the 15th June. I live
with my mum, dad, and twin sister Elisabeth. We live in Hertford, a small town near
London in the south east of England. I have a black and white cat called Tilly.
I go to Presdales School in Ware and am in the sixth form studying French,
Psychology and PE.
My hobbies include music, and I play the drums and trumpet. I like a variety of
music, mainly rock. I also enjoy sport, especially hockey and trampolining. What are

Ingredients
250g butter
200g sugar
125g chocolate
175g flour
100g chopped nuts
3 eggs

2. Write the numbers in the correct circle.
Bake at 175°C for 25 minutes.
Put the mixture into a buttered rectangular oven dish.
Let the brownies cool. Cut them into squares
Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan.
Add sugar, eggs, flour and chopped nuts. Mix together.
