Ces lithographies font partie de la série des dix lithographies originales en couleurs (5) et en noir (5), faites spécialement
par Paul Jouve, pour le livre de Charles Terrasse. L'ouvrage terminé, Jouve tira à part chez l'imprimeur d'art Lucien
Détruit, une trentaine d'épreuves d'artiste, sur papier japon, chaque épreuve fut cachetée, signée et justifiée par
l'artiste.

These lithographs are part of a serie of ten original lithographs among which five were engraved in color and five in black
and white. Paul Jouve specially created them for Charles Terrasse’s book. Once the book was published, Paul Jouve
made the printer Lucien Détruit engrave thirty other copies, of artist's proofs and on Japanese paper. Each proof was
sealed, signed and justified by the artist
