Foncière des Régions reconfirms
its position as European leader
in financial and extra-financial reporting
Foncière des Régions has once again, and for the third consecutive year, won two EPRA Gold
Awards, confirming its position as European leader in the financial and extra-financial reporting
sector.
The 2015 Reference Document and the 2015 Sustainable Development Report by Foncière des
Régions have been recognised for their consistency and transparency in terms of the financial
and extra-financial information published therein, and have been awarded the top prize at the
EPRA Awards 2016.
The results of the awards, revealed in Paris on 7 September 2016 at the EPRA Annual
Conference, are based on a study of the annual documents published by European REITs. This
study assesses to what level they have taken into account the EPRA (European Public Real
Estate Association) Best Practices Recommendations.
A year of achievements
These two awards highlight Foncière des Régions' determination to lead by example and ensure
transparency in terms of performance, as well as its commitment to ethical and environmental
issues.
But these are not the only recent accolades for Foncière des Régions. On 30 June 2016, at the
General Assembly of Pacte Mondial France (UN Global Compact in France), Foncière des
Regions was awarded the Trophy for best Communication on Progress (COP) in the category for
businesses with less than 500 employees, across all sectors, for its 4th COP (document reporting
on the group's progress in accordance with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact). The
panel of experts unanimously voted for Foncière des Regions in this category, acknowledging
"the relevance of the group's sustainable development policy, which is perfectly tailored to the
challenges of its sector".
Elsewhere, the work carried out by Foncière des Regions to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions
has resulted in its admission to the prestigious CDP A List (Carbon Disclosure Project). Of the
4,500 listed companies surveyed worldwide, only 113 appear on this list for their initiatives to
combat climate change. With a score of 99A, commending its transparency and results, Foncière
des Regions is ranked in the Top 5 companies across all sectors in France. It is also the only Arated REIT in France and Benelux.
