haben und den Router austauschen möchten, folgen Sie
bitte den Schritten 1 bis 4 sowie 7 und 8. Die Schritte 5
und 6 können Sie in diesem Fall überspringen.

5. Schliessen Sie Ihren Computer mit dem Ethernetkabel an den Router an.
Für eine optimale Performance/Reichweite des Routers
empfehlen wir, diesen vertikal aufzustellen.

(Ersatz eines Routers, von Glasfaser auf Glasfaser):

Schliessen Sie Ihre Telefongeräte an den Router an.

Die Dienste werden Ihnen innert 15 Minuten nach
der Installation zur Verfügung stehen. (Telefonie-LED
leuchtet weiss und das Telefon kann benutzt werden.)
Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, starten Sie den Router
mit dem Ein/Aus-Schalter neu und warten Sie, bis die
Telefonie-LED weiss leuchtet.

Öffnen Sie den Steckplatz der Glasfasersteckdose.
(In der Regel Steckplatz Nr. 2, selten Nr. 1.)
Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe am grünen Ende des
Kabels und schliessen Sie das Kabel an der Glasfasersteckdose an.

des Kabels an den Glasfaseranschluss des Routers an.

Veuillez procéder à l’installation pas à pas. Si vous n’avez
pas modifié votre abonnement Swisscom et souhaitez
échanger votre routeur, veuillez suivre les étapes 1 à 4 et
7 et 8. Vous pouvez alors sauter les étapes 5 et 6.
5. Raccordez votre ordinateur au routeur avec le câble
Ethernet.
Pour une performance/portée optimale du routeur, nous
vous recommandons de placer celui-ci à la verticale.
D’autres possibilités de montage sont décrites sur la page
d’aide du Centro Business.

passo. Se non è stato modificato l’abbonamento Swisscom e si desidera sostituire il router, seguire i passi da 1 a

5. Collegare il computer con il cavo Ethernet al router.
Per ottenere prestazioni/portata ottimale del router,
consigliamo di collocarlo in posizione verticale. Per ulteriori
possibilità di montaggio consultare la pagina di aiuto del
Centro Business.

Requirements
Before installation, ensure that the following requirements are met.
> For new internet access or Swisscom service: information letter with the serial number and Front view

Installation of optical fibre
Please perform the installation step by step. If you have
not changed your Swisscom subscription and wish to replace the router, please follow steps 1 to 4, 7 and 8. You
can skip steps 5 and 6.
5. Connect your computer to the router using the
Ethernet cable.
To ensure optimal performance/range of the router, we
recommend that it stands upright. Other mounting options
can be found on the Centro Business help page.

Open the slot of the optical fibre socket (usually slot
no. 2, rarely no. 1). Remove the protective cap on the
green end of the cable and connect the cable to the
optical fibre socket.
Do not use the telephone sockets any more! Connect
your telephones to the router (see image). The services will be available within 15 minutes of completion of the installation. (Telephony LED white light
and the phone can be used.) If this is not the case,
restart the router using the On/Off switch and wait
until the telephony LED is white.

Remove the protective cap on the blue connector of
the cable. Connect the blue end of the cable to the
optical fibre port on the router.

> For maximum connection speed and stability, we recommend that you connect your devices with an Ethernet cable, as WLAN transmits information at a lower speed.
> To configure settings on the router directly, connect your computer to the Centro Business 2.0 using the Ethernet cable. After entering the URL http://192.168.1.1 in your internet browser, you can adjust your settings for the router and fixed-line telephony.
> Detailed instructions for number configuration and router settings can be found at www.swisscom.ch/centrobusiness under «Manage telephone settings».
Was the installation successful?
Test whether the installation was successful through the following steps:
> Are the power and internet LEDs white?
> If you used fixed-line telephony (IP): Is the telephony LED on the router white?
> For installed phones: Make a phone call
> Are the websites in your browser displayed correctly?
> For installed TV: Switch on the TV and the set-up box, and check whether you can receive the channels you require.
Were all the tests successful? Then you have completed the installation.
