RÉSUMÉS Viviane Baladi. : Réponse linéaire pour des observables
RÉSUMÉS Viviane Baladi. : Réponse linéaire pour des observables discontinues/Linear response for discontinuous observables. Linear response for hyperbolic dynamics is usually stated for smooth enough observables. Discontinuous observables (involving thresholds) appear naturally in extreme value theory. We present recent results with Kuna and Lucarini giving sufficient conditions, on observables involving thresholds, ensuring linear response. Our proof uses the fine properties of anisotropic Banach spaces, and this will also be an opportunity to present the state of the art regarding these anisotropic spaces. Peter Balint. : The flow of two falling balls. The system of n falling balls was introduced by Wojtkowski. In this talk I will focus on the case of two balls and present a result, joint with Andras Nemedy Varga, which establishes a superpolynomial bound on the rates of mixing in continuous time. Abed Bounemoura. : Some remarks on perturbations of linear integrable Hamiltonian systems. The purpose of this talk is to discuss the validity of some results of Hamiltonian perturbation theory (KAM theory, Arnold diffusion, Nekhoroshev estimates) in the specific (yet important) case where the integrable Hamiltonian is linear. Lev Buhovski. : C 0 Hamiltonian dynamics and the Arnold conjecture. After introducing Hamiltonian homeomorphisms and recalling some of their properties, I will focus on fixed point theory for this class of homeomorphisms. The main goal of this talk is to present the outlines of a C0 counter example to the Arnold conjecture in dimensions higher than two. This is joint work with Vincent Humiliere and Sobhan Seyfaddini. Nicolas Chevallier. We prove that a linear d-dimensional Schrödinger equation on Rd with harmonic potential |x|2 and small t-quasiperiodic potential i∂t u − ∆u + |x|2 u + V (tω, x)u = 0, 1 x ∈ Rd 2 RÉSUMÉS reduces to an autonomous system for most values of the frequency vector ω ∈ Rn . As a consequence any solution of such a linear PDE is almost periodic in time and remains bounded in all Sobolev norms. (joint work with E. Paturel) Vadim Kaloshin. : On Birkhoff Conjecture about integrable planar billiards and on locally integrable geodesic flows. A famous Birkhoff conjecture says that the only integrable billiards are billiard in ellipses. We will discuss the local version of this conjecture, when domains are perturbation of ellipses, and report some progress. The focal point of analysis is preservation of rational caustics, i.e. caustics consisting of periodic orbits. This is based on joint works with A. Avila, J. De Simoi and with G. Huang, A. Sorrentino. Liviana Palmisano. : Foliations of Rigidity Classes We prove that circle maps with a flat interval and degenerate geometry are an example of a dynamical system for which the topological classes don’t coincide with the rigidity classes. Contrarily to all the well-known examples in one-dimensional dynamics (such as circle diffeomorphisms, unimodal interval maps at the boundary of chaos, critical circle maps) we show that the class of functions with Fibonacci rotation numbers is a C 1 manifold which is foliated with finite co dimension rigidity classes. This is a joint work with M. Martens. Romain Petrides. Martin Sambarino. : Franks-Misiurewicz conjecture for extensions of irrational rotations. Let f : T2 → T2 be a homeomorphism isotopic to the identity and assume that f is semiconjugated to an irrational rotation. We prove that the rotation set of f is a singleton.
